Ells has been wanting to make a snowman all winter. I haven't really wanted to and neither has Jacob. Well last night was a rough night for her. She told me she was just having a bad day. I told her she needed to just go to bed and tomorrow we'd start over and try to have a good day. She agreed and immediately said she wanted to make a snowman to have a good day. Even though I knew the snow isn't good for making a snowman, I told her we would make one. First thing this morning she wanted to make that snowman!!! So after b-fast we bundled up and went outside. The snow was just powder. After attempting to make a ball and realizing there was NO way of picking it up without it falling apart, I had a brilliant idea!!! Dum dum du dum......a snowman laying down! We made him on our patio. Ellery was just as thrilled and didn't care it wasn't standing up. She REALLY wanted to decorate him with M&M's and a carrot nose. That made her happy.
After we finished our snowman, Ells stayed out for a while to play in the snow. For those who don't know Ells, she thinks she is a kitty. So her playing was mostly crawling, meowing and eating the snow because "that's what kitties do!"

I LOVE that snowman! What an awesome mommy you are to let her start her day out in exactly a way that would bring her joy. Ellery is a funny kid with so much personality! I love the pictures. Thanks for posting that Millie. :)
haha! that's such a cute snowman. it's way better than a standing snowman cause they're usually covered in grass and dirt.
Ells is so funny! She has such an intense personality that just makes you be glad for life. Isn't it great to be a mom? Even though I had my hard times, the good times out weighed those by far. Enjoy every moment cuz it goes by way too fast! Thanks for sharing those moments they are very special to us here.

That was the best idea ever!! What better way to make a snowman. You don't have to worry about it falling over. It's SOOO cute too.
I can just hear her meow in the snow. She makes me laugh. What a cutie!
