Halloween Party

This year we celebrated my dad's Halloween birthday party on Friday since Saturday, which is his real birthday but was our ward's Trunk or Treat.  We all dressed up.  Ellery was a green butterfly, up to the sky.  Aayla was Winnie the Pooh on Friday and on Saturday was a little black raincloud.  My mom made mummy cheddar brats, swamp monster mac and cheese, red cabbage, swamp green drinks with frog eggs and bugs, and I made halloween cupcakes.  We ended the night carving pumpkins.  Ellery wanted me to carve a kitty.  My dad was the first to finish his but that was because he used a jigsaw.  My cupcakes were quite tastey.  They were pumpkin with cheesecake filling, all from scratch!  Fun night...Trunk or Treat picts coming soon...

That's right, baby....HONEYMOON.....at DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!  I really miss this place.

Halloween Is In The Air

Millie and I are excited about having a home. One of the major reasons is the opportunity to decorate! What better way to make a house a home?!

Halloween is technically the first major holiday we're getting to decorate for (I did hang my huge American Flag for the 4th of July, but other than that, we were too newly in our house and didn't have time or means to do much more than that).

So, we're going all out (as much as we can) for the next few months of holidays!
