Really? Do you think I didn't notice that?

I'm going to complain about some ladies I observed today. If you don't want to hear complaining about probably stupid stuff- don't read. But I was bugged.......

Today we went to 7 peaks. Ellery and I were waiting in line for the Flash Floods ride. The lines were exceptionally long!!! I thought, oh well I don't mind waiting since Ellery really likes this ride. So we waited and waited, it was probably a good 15-20 minutes. There was a mom in front of me with like 5 kids, and was talking to another lady with her kid in the other line every now and then like they knew each other. (For those of you who don't know this ride, there are 2 slides, therefore 2 lines.) So we were almost to the front of the line when I notice this lady coming over to stand with her friend! HELLO?? Does she really think I didn't notice her butting in line right in front of me?? I don't mean to be elementary school complaining, but really!!!! We had been waiting our turn too! UGH!

Anyway, the lady proceeds to sit down in the slide. She was wearing a hat and sunglasses. You can't wear these on the rides, but you can hold them. So the little teen-aged lifeguard tells her she needs to take them off and hold them. The lady just says "Oh, ya right, I know! I will!" Yet she continues to just sit there and turn back to talk to her friend. Didn't take them off. The lifeguard was looking at her like,"HELLO! Do you think I don't notice you with your stuff still on?" Yet didn't say anything else and just flushed her down. UGH. How annoying are these ladies.

Ok there's more. The next lady was putting her son in the slide and he had a big hard cast on his arm. There's a sign saying no casts...(earlier in the day I saw a lifeguard not letting a girl on with one.) So the lifeguard says he can't go on. I'm not sure what the mom said, but was arguing with her about it til the girl just said, ok fine he can go. Then the same story with the second lady, she gets on and goes down with her hat and sunglasses!

Um, hello? Really? Do they think they are the exceptions to all the rules or something? Or that people really don't notice them??

The line butting happened to me at UVU while waiting to take a final. It was probably an hour long line and the guy in front of me kept having friends that he knew that would just start coming over to talk to him, and they'd just conveniently stay in line instead of going to the end. Four people were added to the line in front of me by the end. I felt too stupid to say anything though, like what could I say w/o sounding childish "Hey no butting!" ?? Totally understand your frustration!

Um, Hello!! Didn't you know that those people are EVERYWHERE!!! I had a lady totally cut in front of me at the blood draw place this week. She came in behind me and we were all waiting behind the white line for our turn at the window. As soon as the lady in front of us (at the window) left, the woman that came in behind me pretty much ran up to the window in front of me. I told her that was rude, but she just looked at me like I wasn't even there.

Everyone that does this thinks they are the exception. I think they are just exceptionally idiotic.

See Millie, idiots and inconsiderates are EVERYWHERE. You're just usually too nice and sweet to either:

A) take the time to notice them, B) point them out or C) say/do anything about them.

I guess being prego is allowing your hormones to get up to a level closer to where mine are on a daily basis... but not AS bad still since you don't seem to notice all the idiots on the roads, in stores, etc....

The world could use more of you... sometimes. :)

I think we all should speak up and say something. Obviously nobody does so all 'those' people know they can get away with it. As I've gotten older I really don't care what rude people may think if I say something about their rudeness. You know 'I'm older and have more insurance'(fried green tomatoes)We all need to have the courage to stop the madness!!!! It can be done nicely.....at first and then WOOOOOE Nellie!
