This year we celebrated my dad's Halloween birthday party on Friday since Saturday, which is his real birthday but was our ward's Trunk or Treat. We all dressed up. Ellery was a green butterfly, up to the sky. Aayla was Winnie the Pooh on Friday and on Saturday was a little black raincloud. My mom made mummy cheddar brats, swamp monster mac and cheese, red cabbage, swamp green drinks with frog eggs and bugs, and I made halloween cupcakes. We ended the night carving pumpkins. Ellery wanted me to carve a kitty. My dad was the first to finish his but that was because he used a jigsaw. My cupcakes were quite tastey. They were pumpkin with cheesecake filling, all from scratch! Fun night...Trunk or Treat picts coming soon...

It looks like Aayla had a good time with all the candy! I don't think I've seen Ellery so girly...wow! The cupcakes look super cute and sound really yummy, you'll have to send me the recipe, I love anything pumpkin! Looks like another Halloween success!
The cupcakes were really yummy!!! There's still one sitting on the counter and it's all I can do to leave it alone. We really laughed when dad pulled out the jigsaw, but WOW did it ever make it fast and easy! :)
