Halloween

I love Halloween! I love the costumes, the candy, the cool weather, colorful leaves, scary movies (although I didn't watch one this year), and so forth... We went to my parents house as we do every year to celebrate Halloween and my dads birthday. It's starting to be a fun tradition that everyone dresses up, we eat chili and candy and apple juice and donuts, and open presents, and go trick-or-treating, and watch a movie. This year was especially fun because we got to take Ellery trick-or-treating. She was a little scared to go up to the doors, but when she realized they had candy she was more willing to go grab some, put it in her bucket and cling back to me. She's a little scaredy cat sometimes. We got back to the house and she ate more candy than I think she has in one sitting! We headed home after a fun night to get Ellery in bed while the rest of my family stayed and watched, "The Skeleton Key."
